VibeMon for Android Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-27
This policy applies to the VibeMon for Android app and its widgets ("the App"), published by OpsPresso.
Summary
The App reads your own VibeMon workspace with a read token. The App stores its connection and latest workspace snapshot on your device. It sends the read token to your chosen VibeMon address with authenticated requests.
When you use the App with VibeMon at vibemon.io, which OpsPresso operates, OpsPresso keeps this data with your account:
- The email address and account ID of your sign-in, when you sign in from the App.
- Token metadata, the token hash used for authentication, and an encrypted recovery copy that you can retrieve on VibeMon Account. The token name contains the device name, such as
VibeMon for Android (Pixel 9). - For each Claude or Codex account that you connect: the encrypted sign-in from that service, the account's email address and plan, and its latest usage reading.
OpsPresso uses this data only to run the App and its widgets. It does not use it for advertising or tracking, and does not share or sell it. When you enter another VibeMon address, such as your own server, that server receives this data instead of OpsPresso.
Data that the App handles
| Data | Where it is kept or sent | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and account ID | When you sign in from the App, you sign in on your VibeMon address in the browser with Google, Apple, or an email account. With Apple Hide My Email, VibeMon receives the private relay address instead of your personal address. VibeMon keeps the address and an account ID with your account. For an email account, it also keeps a one-way hash of the password, never the password. The App never sees your password. | To connect the App to your workspace |
| Device name | Sent once during sign-in and kept in the token name on your VibeMon address. | To tell your devices apart on VibeMon Account |
| Read token | The App stores it on your device, encrypted with a key of the Android Keystore, and sends it to your chosen VibeMon address over HTTPS. On vibemon.io, VibeMon stores token metadata, an authentication hash, and an encrypted recovery copy. | To read your workspace and let you retrieve the token on VibeMon Account |
| Claude and Codex connections | When you connect a service, you sign in on that service's own page. VibeMon's server receives the service's sign-in, keeps it encrypted, and uses it only to read the plan usage of that account. VibeMon keeps the account's email address, plan, and latest usage reading, and never sends prompts. The App receives the usage readings with the account's email address and plan; the sign-in itself never reaches the App. | To show plan usage without software on a computer |
| Workspace data: account names, project names, states, and measurements | Received from your VibeMon address. The latest copy is kept in the App's storage on your device. | To show the workspace and widgets when the network is slow or unavailable |
| Display choices, such as hidden items and widget choices | The App's settings on your device | To keep your view |
The App excludes all of its data from Android backups and device transfers. The App has no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It uses Android and AndroidX components for the interface, browser sign-in, and widget updates. It requests no runtime permission for contacts, photos, location, camera, or microphone. Its packaged permissions include network access and background scheduling for widgets.
Remove data
- In the App, select Settings → Disconnect. The App removes the token and saved workspace data from your device and attempts to delete the token on VibeMon. If VibeMon is unreachable, also delete the token on VibeMon Account.
- Disconnect before uninstalling the App. Uninstalling removes the App's data from the device, but does not revoke the token on VibeMon.
- To revoke a token on every device, delete it on VibeMon Account.
- To stop reading a Claude or Codex account, select Disconnect under Settings → Manage connected services in the App, or under Connected services on Web. VibeMon deletes the saved sign-in and readings of that account. It does not end the authorization at the service; use the service's own account settings for that.
- To delete the account shared by all your VibeMon apps, select Settings → Delete VibeMon account in the App, or open Delete account. Sign in, review the listed data, type
DELETE, and confirm. VibeMon stops account access and removes account data; the page reports completion. Disconnect the Android app to clear its local snapshot. See the shared service deletion details, including temporary recovery records and separate Apple subscription cancellation.
VibeMon stores the data that your collectors and coding-tool integrations send. The App does not change that data.
Children
The App is not directed to children.
