Use the dashboard

Open the dashboard after connecting a source. It shows the latest reports from your resources and coding agents and refreshes every 30 seconds while the page is visible.

Find your way

Page Shows
Overview A summary of everything that you selected in Customize view. Need attention shows only the items that need you.
Resources Servers, clusters, and other resources
Coding agents Coding accounts and their projects
Account & tokens Sign-in methods and connected computers

Overview previews up to three resource cards and three coding accounts. Use View all or the navigation menu to see the full list. In Resources, search by name or source ID. In Coding agents, search by account or project and filter by provider. Clear the search, provider filter, and Needs attention filter if an expected item is missing.

A red dot in the menu shows which page has an item that needs attention. A useful routine is: open Overview, check Need attention, open the affected card, then act in the original coding tool or on the server. VibeMon shows the issue; it does not answer the agent's question or repair the server for you.

Account & tokens manages sign-ins, access tokens, and appearance. Connect coding account generates account naming settings. Add resource generates a template for a custom sender. These two setup pages do not start collection.

Choose what you see

  1. Open Overview and select Customize view.
  2. Select the resources, coding accounts, and metrics to show.
  3. Select Save view.

This browser keeps the view for the current VibeMon account. Desktop and iPhone keep their own display choices. Hiding a card or metric does not stop collection or delete data. If a saved selection excludes a new item, return here and select it.

Read a card

Label Meaning
Needs input The agent waits for your answer.
Needs attention The agent reported an error.
Collection error The collector could not read the resource.
Attention The resource reported a warning.
Stale The resource sent no report for 2 minutes.
Inactive The account has no recent activity. No action is necessary.
Unavailable or — The tool or the collector does not report this value. It does not mean zero.
Resets in 2h5m The time until the plan usage limit resets

Stale means reporting stopped; it does not by itself prove that a server is down. Healthy describes the reported collection health, not a guarantee that every service on the machine works. Gauge ranges control display; they do not configure alerts. Check the values and report time together.

A project disappears 24 hours after its last report. It comes back with its next report. Each account keeps its newest project and shows at most 10 projects.

See details and history

Select a card to open its details. Check the received time, reported status message, and measurements. For a coding account, inspect its reporting projects to find the one waiting for input or reporting an error.

The chart shows the recent hour; choose the metric above it. It refreshes every minute and shows minute averages and maxima, so a short peak may differ from the latest card value. New sources need reports before history fills in. Missing values are gaps, not zero. If no metric is selected, enable one in Overview → Customize view.

Close details with the close button, Escape, or a click outside the dialog. On a phone, tap a card to open it and use the close button to return.

Edit a resource

  1. Open the details of the resource and select Edit resource and metrics.
  2. Change the name, the metric labels, the units, the ranges, or the order.
  3. Select Save changes.

The settings are saved for the resource and appear on connected clients after their next refresh. This differs from Customize view, which only controls what that browser or app shows.

Changing a unit does not convert measurements. If you change a metric key or unit, update the sending program too; incompatible values and history show as unavailable until matching measurements arrive. The source ID of an existing resource cannot be edited here. If another edit was saved first, load the latest version and review your changes before saving again.

Remove a resource or coding account

Select Remove on a resource or coding-account card, review the confirmation, then select Remove. You can also remove a resource from its details. Removing a coding account removes all its currently registered projects from monitoring. To remove only one project, open the account details and use that project's trash button.

If the collector or hook continues reporting, the item can appear again. Stop or uninstall the corresponding collector or integration first when you want it to stay removed. See Remove a collector or Remove coding hooks.

Desktop opens the same confirmation through Details → Remove on Web. Sign in with the same VibeMon account as Desktop. The browser asks for confirmation before changing anything.

Generated account identifiers are shortened on cards, details headings, selection lists, and Desktop widgets: for example Codex · 27e702a8. Web account details show the full identifier under Full account ID. Short labels do not change the underlying account or selection.

Manage sign-in methods and computers

Open Account & tokens.

  • Sign-in methods: While signed in to the workspace you want to keep using, link a Google account or an email account. Either sign-in then opens that workspace. Linking does not merge two existing workspaces.
  • Password: Shown when you signed in with an email account. Enter the current password and a new password, then select Change password. Other devices that use the account are signed out.
  • API tokens: Connections created by sign-in appear here. Delete the matching token to revoke access. Deleting a read token stops that viewer; deleting a write token stops senders using it. It does not uninstall software or delete previously reported cards. Reusing one token on several devices means deleting it disconnects all of them.
  • To connect a program that cannot sign in, select Create token. Choose Write to send data or Read to show data. Select Show token to copy it. Use a separate named token for each connection and keep it secret. The browser dashboard itself uses your sign-in and needs no pasted token. In Appearance, choose system, light, or dark mode for this browser.
